About
When I was enduring the woes of adolescence, the most invaluable thing to me was having an adult to talk to who I knew cared about my well-being, wouldn’t judge me, and would offer me unconditional support through an authentic connection. As I got older, I realized that I could provide that to others as well by becoming a psychotherapist......and voila! I have since worked in schools, nonprofits, and private practice settings with adolescents, young adults, and performing artists.
Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, dating, relationships, life as an artist, low self-esteem, or the woes of adolescence, I will hold the space for you to explore your feelings. My number one priority as a therapist is to ensure that my clients feel safe, comfortable, seen, heard, and, most importantly, empowered. As the client, I want you to feel empowered to be your most authentic self and talk about whatever you feel will be most beneficial to your growth and progress. While I will always be there to help as a guide, you are the director of your own life.
It is important to me that my work as a therapist is inclusive and intersectional. As I aim to be honest with my clients, I hope they can be honest with me, too. Furthermore, I think life and work would feel meaningless without a little fun; I hope that, sometimes, the therapeutic space can provide healing through joy and laughter. When passion, humor, and creativity are incorporated into sessions, it can truly nourish the therapeutic space and your potential.
I offer weekly individual virtual therapy sessions. My working hours are Monday-Thursday from 8am to 5pm. I currently accept the following commercial insurance plans: United Healthcare, Optum, Oxford, Oscar, Aetna, and Cigna. If you have an out-of-network plan I am happy to assist you with submitting for reimbursement. If you do not have out-of-network benefits, I do see clients through direct pay and I work on a sliding scale of $100-$150. However, if you are struggling financially, we can discuss what fee feels best for you.
I graduated from Hunter’s Silberman School of Social Work in 2019 and have been working full-time since. I currently hold a professional license in Clinical Social Work (LCSW).
